英語部　夏季多読大会を開催しました！

8月5日、英語部では夏季活動として「英語部多読大会」を開催しました。

部員たちは図書館からお借りした約70冊の英語図書の中から興味のある本を選び、時間いっぱい熱心に多読に取り組みました。その後、一人ずつ前に立ち、読んだ本の内容や感想、お気に入りの表現などを英語で１分間で紹介し、質問に答えました。

後半には、参加した全員へそれぞれ異なる賞の賞状を贈呈しました。続いて、英国語学研修に参加した３名のうち2名の部員が現地での体験を紹介し、質疑応答を交えながら海外での学びを部員全員で共有しました。最後はお菓子や飲み物を囲みながら交流を深め、笑顔あふれる夏の活動となりました。

英語部では、これからも「英語を楽しみながら実際に使う」活動を大切にし、生徒一人一人が活躍できる部活動を目指していきます。（石川）

English Club Summer Extensive Reading Event

On August 5, the English Club held its Summer Extensive Reading Event.

Students selected books from approximately 70 English books borrowed from the school library and enjoyed reading for an extended period. After reading, each student gave a one-minute presentation in English, introducing the book, explaining the story, and sharing a favorite sentence or expression. Everyone also enjoyed asking and answering questions.

In the second half of the event, every participant received a special certificate in recognition of their efforts. Three students who had recently returned from a language program in the UK then shared their experiences, followed by an enjoyable question-and-answer session. The event concluded with refreshments and friendly conversation, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.

The English Club will continue to provide opportunities for students to enjoy English, communicate confidently, and learn from one another.
