今年最後のサクラカフェが開催されました。

On November 17, Lane Sensei hosted another Sakura Café session and it turned out very exciting and successful. Three university students joined the session and they had a great time interacting with the students from Sakuragaoka High School.

Lane Sensei provided the attendees  with a very unique and creative quiz and the attendees were fascinated  by solving　it.

He divided the attendees into three groups, each had one university student. He hid 9 sheets of paper with scrambled sentences written on each of them in the classroom and told the attendees to find them and unscramble the words, making proper sentences.

Each group had a writer and players and the writer wrote down the sentences the players discovered.

He handed out penalties to each group, like, ‘the writer has to use his left hand’, and ‘players have to cover their ears’. It made the game challenging and even more exciting.

They moved around the classroom, looking for the sheets of paper and trying to unscramble the sentences. It was good exercise both for their brains and their muscles.

They practiced English and enjoyed communicating with each other too.

To our delight, they were very satisfied and happy at the end of the session.

It was the last session of this semester and hopefully more and more students will come to enjoy Sakura Cafe next year!!

11月17日にレイン先生によるサクラカフェが開催されました！
今回も大学生に3人参加していただき，生徒たちは大学生とも楽しく交流することができました。

レイン先生は参加した生徒たちにユニークなクイズを出題，生徒たちが夢中で解答する姿が見られました。

また，教室内に隠された9枚の紙を探し出し，そこに書かれた単語をつなぎあわせてきちんとした文を作成するといったゲームも実施。
ゲームはグループに分かれて実施され，途中からは「記録者は左手を使わないといけない」「競技者は耳を覆わないといけない」などのペナルティーも加えられたため，最後まで大いに盛り上がりました！

参加した生徒たちは，今回のセッションに大変満足している様子でした！
今学期はこれが最後のセッションとなります。来年にはますます多くの生徒達がサクラカフェに参加くれることを楽しみにしています！（石川）
