今学期最後のサクラカフェが開催されました！

6月14日，アリック先生による今学期最後のセッションが開催されました。
今回も多くの生徒が参加し，３名の大学生も加わってセッションが行われました。

セッションのテーマは，最も人気のあるイギリスのアニメーション，「ショーン・ザ・シープ」。
ウォームアップとして，アリック先生は生徒たちに，アニメーションのさまざまなキャラクターや舞台設定について話をさせました。
参加した生徒たちはみなこのアニメを知っており，実際に羊がピザ作りのビジネスに乗り出すクリップも視聴しながら，興味を持ってディスカッションを行う様子が見られました！

セッションの締めくくりに，アリック先生は単語推測ゲームを行い，大変盛り上がっていました！
参加した生徒たちはセッションを楽しみ，スピーキングスキルを磨き，新しい単語もたくさん学ぶことができたようです！

次回のサクラカフェは9月になります。さらに多くの生徒が参加してくれることを楽しみにしています。

Aric Sensei held the last session of this semester on June 14th. Three university students joined and we also had many Sakuragaoka students too, of course. The theme of the session was one of the most popular British animations Shawn the Sheep.

As a warm up activity, he set the scene by having students talk about the different characters and where the animation is set. All the students were already familiar with the animation, as it is famous all over the world.

Then the students watched a short clip – where the sheep went into business making pizza – and students had to talk about what they had seen.

To wrap up the session, Aric played a vocabulary guessing game. Students had to describe words and their groups competed to guess the word first.

All the students enjoyed the session and they had the chance to practice their speaking skills and to learn some new words. We are looking forward to the next session in September and hope to see even more students there!
